About the music
Where I’m coming from
I grew up with country in one ear and rap in the other. Never saw a reason they couldn’t ride together. I wrote about work, pride, pressure, women, family, bad calls, long roads, and whatever was really goin’ on. I don’t follow rules just because another man wrote ’em, and I don’t let anybody else decide who I’m supposed to be. I’d rather starve on my feet than get fat on my knees. I am who I am even when the world is looking.
I’ll run with the wolves, ride the backroads, and stand alone before I let another man put a leash on me.
